This Online Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to the websites ResetLending.com and MyResetLoan.com (collectively, the "Sites"), owned and operated by TriPoint Lending, LLC, doing business as Reset Lending ("Reset Lending," "we," "us," or "our"). Both domains are operated by the same legal entity and are subject to this same Policy.

This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect the personal information of visitors and users of our Sites ("you" or "User"). By using our Sites, you acknowledge you have read and agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites. See also our Terms of Use.

This Policy does not apply to information collected offline or via channels other than the Sites, including information collected by our lending partners after you are redirected to their platforms.

2. Who We Are

TriPoint Lending, LLC (dba Reset Lending) is a California-licensed lender, loan brokerage marketplace, and financial services intermediary operating at 3330 Harbor Blvd, 2nd Floor Costa Mesa, CA 92626.

We connect consumers with third-party lenders and financial institutions. We are not a direct lender for any and all loan products offered through our Sites.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you use our Sites, you may provide us with:

  • Identity Information: Full name, date of birth, Social Security Number (last 4 or full, depending on service stage)
  • Contact Information: Email address, mailing address, phone number(s)
  • Financial Information: Annual income, employment status, employer name, monthly housing payment, requested loan amount, loan purpose
  • Account Credentials: Username, password, and security questions if you create an account
  • Communication Records: Emails, chat transcripts, or call records if you contact us

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Sites, we automatically collect:

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, links clicked, time spent on pages, referring URL, exit pages

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information for monetary consideration. However, we do share information in the following circumstances:

5.1 Lending Partners and Affiliates

When you submit a loan inquiry, we share your information with our network of lending partners (including but not limited to Best Egg, Happy Money, LendingClub, LendingPoint, LightStream, OneMain Financial, Prosper, SoFi, Upgrade, and Upstart) and their affiliates to facilitate your loan request. Each lending partner has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

5.2 Service Providers

We share information with vendors and service providers acting on our behalf, including:

  • Technology infrastructure and hosting providers
  • Analytics and marketing technology platforms
  • Identity verification and fraud prevention services
  • Customer communication tools (email, SMS, phone)

These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as directed by us and consistent with this Policy.

5.3 Legal and Compliance Disclosures

We may disclose your information when required or permitted by law, including:

  • In response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process

7.4 Do Not Track

Our Sites do not currently respond to browser-level Do Not Track (DNT) signals because there is no uniform industry standard for DNT compliance. California residents, see Section 11 for additional rights.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • Active service relationships: For the duration of your account or service engagement

When information is no longer needed, we destroy or de-identify it in accordance with our data retention procedures.

9. SMS and Telephone Communications

9.1 SMS/Text Messaging

By providing your mobile phone number and submitting a loan inquiry on our Sites, you expressly consent to receive SMS/text messages from Reset Lending and its lending partners. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out of SMS messages, text STOP to any message you receive from us. For help, text HELP or contact us at the information below. After opting out, we will send a confirmation message; no further promotional SMS will be sent.

9.2 Autodialed and Prerecorded Calls

By submitting your information, you expressly consent to receive telephone calls, including calls using an automatic telephone dialing system (ATDS) or prerecorded voice messages, from Reset Lending and its lending and affiliate partners at the number(s) you provide, even if your number is on a state or federal Do Not Call registry. Consent is not required as a condition of obtaining any product or service.

10. Security

We use industry-standard technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include:

  • Access controls and employee training
  • Regular security assessments and monitoring

11. Your Privacy Rights

11.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, purposes, and third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: We do not sell personal information for money, but we may "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may opt out at the Opt-Out page on our Sites or by clicking "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in our Site footer.

11.2 Nevada Residents

Nevada residents may request to be placed on our internal Do Not Call list or opt out of the sale of certain personally identifiable information by contacting us in writing at privacy@resetlending.com.

11.3 Vermont Residents

We automatically treat accounts associated with Vermont addresses as having requested that we not share personal information with nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by Vermont regulations, and will limit information sharing with affiliates accordingly.

11.4 Other State Privacy Laws

Residents of states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Montana, and others) may have rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of personal information. Please contact us at privacy@resetlending.com to exercise any applicable state rights.

12. Children's Privacy

Our Sites are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will promptly delete such information. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us at privacy@resetlending.com.

13. Links to Third-Party Websites

Our Sites may contain links to lending partners and other third-party websites. Once you leave our Sites, this Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law. We will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this Policy when we do so. Continued use of the Sites after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. Material changes will be communicated via a prominent notice on the Sites and/or by email.

16. Your Right to Opt-out and Opt-out Information

You have the right to opt out of certain communications and uses of your personal information.
